Ion AC Series Sump Pump Backup Systems
Ion Technologies AC Series sump pump backup systems provide homeowners the added assurance that their basements will be protected from flooding. These backup systems are equipped to operate with heavy duty Power+ AGM Batteries, which perform better and can last twice as long as standard batteries. Our sump pumps are built with higher-grade materials to help protect against normal wear and tear, resulting in prolonged pump life.
Battery backup pump systems are a necessary add-on for any basement to help protect it from flooding. A basement with a primary pump by itself is more likely to eventually flood. A pump failure can occur due to normal wear and tear, a float switch gone bad or due to the loss of power. Power outages are most likely to occur during a heavy rainstorm, which is obviously the worst time you’d want to lose your power and the functionality of your sump pump.
